We build what does not exist on the market. Avocado360 designs and builds custom FPV drone rigs and multi-camera systems for high-resolution 360° aerial production. Our FPV drone delivers a minimum of 12K at 60fps — the resolution required for fulldome projection, giant LED screens, Cosm venues, Flying Theaters and next-generation VR headsets including Apple Vision Pro and Galaxy XR.
We have been producing aerial 360° footage since 2012. Our work has screened at the Verkehrshaus Planetarium Lucerne, FULLDOME UK, Dome Fest West, Fulldome Brno and FULLDOME APLF. Clients include Swiss Tourism, Red Bull, AXPO, ETH Zürich and KKL Luzern.
Our FPV drone weighs just 1.5 kg. Maximum speed 100 km/h. Flight time approximately 6 minutes. BAZL-certified. We can fly where competitors are not permitted to operate. These systems do not exist commercially. We build them because we have to.
Stitching, editing, colour grading and VFX — all in-house. For complex productions such as our AXPO energy films we integrate VFX to explain processes that cannot be filmed directly. Ambisonic spatial audio included as standard for all dome and VR deliveries.
Our 360° content has been tested and verified on Apple Vision Pro and Galaxy XR. The difference that 60fps makes in immersive VR is significant. Content feels natural, fluid and genuinely spatial. This is why we shoot at 60fps as standard.

What resolution do your aerial 360° systems deliver?
Our custom FPV drone delivers a minimum of 12K at 60fps. Ground-based rigs using multiple Nikon Z8 cameras deliver equivalent resolution from static positions. Both systems exceed the requirements for fulldome projection, giant LED screens and next-generation VR headsets including Apple Vision Pro.
Why does the 1.5 kg drone weight matter for permits?
Weight determines which airspace categories and locations a drone is permitted to fly in. Our 1.5 kg FPV drone qualifies for categories that are closed to heavier professional systems. This means we can operate in nature reserves, sensitive mountain terrain and restricted urban areas where competitors cannot get authorisation.
Can your footage be used for fulldome projection?
Yes. Our aerial footage has been used in fulldome productions screened at the Verkehrshaus Planetarium Lucerne and at major international festivals including FULLDOME UK and Dome Fest West. We understand the technical requirements of dome projection and deliver footage accordingly.
Do you handle flight permits and airspace authorisation?
Yes. Our pilot holds Swiss BAZL certification. We handle all permits and airspace authorisations — in Switzerland and internationally. For productions in France, Germany and other European countries we manage the local regulatory requirements. You do not need to handle any of this.
How does the post-production pipeline work?
We handle all post-production in-house — stitching, stabilisation, colour grading, VFX where required and final mastering. Content is delivered in all required formats: fulldome, VR headset, web and exhibition. Ambisonic spatial audio is mixed and delivered as standard for dome and VR projects.
Can you integrate VFX into the aerial footage?
Yes. Our AXPO energy production is a clear example. Where physical filming cannot show a process or system, we integrate VFX in post-production. The result is a seamless blend of real aerial footage and explanatory visual effects — all delivered in the required fulldome or VR format.
