360° VR VIDEO PRODUCTION IN SWITZERLAND & WORLDWIDE
A 360° video does not explain. It shows. That is the difference.
What 360° VR Video Makes Possible
360° video places the viewer inside a real environment. Not in front of it. The difference is presence — and presence changes how people understand, remember and decide.
At Avocado360, we produce 360° and VR video in Switzerland and internationally. For companies, public institutions, tourism destinations and science organisations. From the first idea to the finished experience — concept, filming, post-production and delivery. Everything in-house. One team. One point of contact.
We are based in Rain, near Lucerne. We produce across Switzerland and internationally. We handle all filming permits, location authorisations and logistics. You focus on the content. We handle everything else.
The same 360° film can be shown on a VR headset at a trade fair, projected in a fulldome theatre, embedded on your website and played on a large curved screen. One production investment. Multiple channels. Years of use.
Concept, filming, stitching, colour grading, VFX and final mastering — all handled by our team. No handoffs. No subcontractors. The result is a coherent production that works visually, technically and in real use.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between 360° video and traditional film?
A traditional film controls exactly what the viewer sees. A 360° film places the viewer inside the environment — they look freely in any direction. This creates presence. The viewer does not watch the story. They stand inside it. For subjects where spatial understanding, trust and authentic experience matter, 360° is the stronger format.
Do viewers need a VR headset?
No. 360° content works on any smartphone, tablet or desktop — viewers drag to look around. A VR headset creates a more immersive experience but is never a requirement. This means one production can be shown on a trade fair headset, embedded on your website and projected in a dome theatre without refilming.
How long does a 360° production take?
A straightforward live-action 360° film typically takes 4 to 6 weeks from briefing to delivery. Productions with VFX, Hybrid VR elements or multiple locations take longer — typically 8 to 12 weeks. We give a clear timeline after the first project discussion.
Can the same film be used on multiple platforms?
Yes — this is one of the strongest arguments for 360° production. The same film can be shown on a VR headset at a trade fair, projected in a fulldome theatre, embedded on your website and played on a large curved screen. We plan multi-platform delivery from the start so you get maximum value from one production.
Do you handle filming permits in Switzerland?
Yes. We manage all filming permits, drone authorisations and location clearances — in Switzerland and internationally. Our pilot holds Swiss BAZL certification. For sensitive locations, nature reserves and restricted airspace, we obtain the necessary authorisations as part of our standard production process.
How much does a 360° VR production cost?
Costs depend on the number of filming days, locations, post-production complexity and whether VFX or Hybrid VR elements are required. We provide transparent project-based quotes after an initial briefing. No package pricing. No hidden costs. Tell us about your project and we will give you a clear picture of what is possible and what it costs.
