Allow us to take you on an unforgettable journey through what might soon disappear forever — the glaciers' last symphony.

Our journey began several years ago, sparked by director Urs Wyss witnessing the disappearance of glaciers in his native Switzerland. For a filmmaker who grew up next to a glacier and ventured inside glaciers for his films, the change was devastating to witness.

The Last Symphony is a production by Avocado Productions (Switzerland). Director Urs Wyss and writer and creative producer Olga Rozanova are currently developing the film together — building a story told not through talking heads but through stunning 360° visuals, music, sound and the voices of the landscapes themselves.

Four continents. Vanishing glaciers. An original orchestral score. A film built to be felt, not just watched.

Partner with us

This film needs the right partners.

We are actively seeking planetarium pre-sales, co-production partners, impact investors and festival submissions. If your organisation works at the intersection of science, climate and storytelling — we want to hear from you.

A typical immersive documentary of this kind is financed through a combination of public film support, foundations, NGO partnerships and planetarium pre-sales. We are experienced in working within these structures and can advise from the first conversation.

Planetariums & dome venues

Pre-sale agreements secure your screening rights and directly support production. We work with planetariums of all sizes — from regional science centres to international Cosm venues.

Film funds & cultural institutions

The film is supported by the Swiss Federal Office of Culture (BAK). We are actively applying to additional national and international film funds and welcome introductions.

NGOs & environmental foundations

For organisations working on climate, glaciers or biodiversity — this film is a communication tool as much as a documentary. We are open to partnership conversations at any stage.

Educational distribution

Schools, science centres and universities can licence the film for educational use. We are building a curriculum package to accompany the film for secondary and tertiary education.
